Faun by ~Serrifth. There are many wonderful pieces of artwork in this artist's gallery, and many are wondering why I chose a sketch to showcase. Aside from the fact that none of my sketches ever looked so amazing, this piece is a fantastic reflection of talent on a whim. The artist uses micron pens in a natural and intricate way, and the faun turned out just as colorful in personality even though it is just black and white.

Man, I haven't updated this journal in forever it seems. I'm going to have to remedy it at some point with details about what I've been up to. But for now I'm in a pretty dire situation which calls for help.

The link at the top is to a ChipIn page to help me move out of my family's apartment. I can't live there anymore on account that I'm STILL jobless after graduating from The Art Institute and cannot sign the lease. My friend has a space for me to go live in, but I need money to afford the rent, and I'm getting little to no freelance gigs to support me.

It's for my sanity that I move out as well because tension between my family and I have worsened over the past year... The page goes more in depth though.

Anything at this point helps, even spreading the word. I just don't want to end up homeless in Las Vegas...
