WHY!?!?! I just hate Irina as a person. *3* And her father looks like a mob boss. Her collection looked like a bunch of medieval horse jockeys... I think Carol Hannah did it a bit better... And Althea's looked too much like she ripped something out of Klaus Nomi's closet.
But i'm in LOVE with Tim Gunn.

Yeah, i watch Project Runway, what of it. You learn something new about me each day. XD Well, at least i hope so.

Mom and i watched DVDs of the previous seasons and now we're hooked. Mostly for Tim's sake because he's so adorable.


Also, i have no idea why the comics class i'm taking has so many just plan awful artists. I'm sorry, but i really am just like, "WHY!? HOW!? YOU ARE DOING THIS TO GET OUT OF WHICH CLASS!?" Seriously, there's one girl who for the life of her can't follow directions and the teacher seems to have just about given up because she can't do anything. I've talked with several instructors in the school and they don't know how she got into the place with NO portfolio and basically no talent. It seems like a waste of money to be in this institution and not learn ANYTHING. I hate being the person to say things like that, but there were a lot of other more talented students that wanted to take that class, and she draws like she's in kindergarten, and its not even a style, she really can't draw much less understand the content or structure of making a simple comic. D:> I can be harsh if i want to and i will say it. Like i said, i hate to be that person, but it has to be said. (I commented on another person's sculpture as being like the concept art from a really cheesy late 90's PS1 game, i can't really sculpt well either but hey, i called it like i saw it. DX) I didn't have a great portfolio when i started there, but not that much time has passed and i think i've gotten a lot better than i was a few years ago. But people like her make me wish they were harsher on people wanting to go into this and not treat the school like a damned factory. We already have what we call the "Jimmy Factor", and i won't go much into explaining it but i will say that the school has people in it who have been there for literally YEARS and not have anything to show from it. And for the sake of every person who actually put hard work into their portfolio, i hope they don't let the "Jimmy"s of the school graduate and be let loose into the world. It would seriously affect my reputation as an artist and i would be ashamed to say I graduated from that institution if it happened. I know every school has one, it's been tested, tried and proven. :\

I'm just really at a loss here for the sake of the school's future. And i heard that one of my favorite teachers might get booted because the AI campus we're at just got "Accredited" and he doesn't have a masters degree to teach advanced illustration. He's one of the most talented people i know there and it doesn't seem fair especially with the progress he's made trying to bring better and more fun classes for students who want to learn more than just the usual stuff. (EX: COMICS!!!)

I'll end my rant here. I'm piss poor at the moment and Star Trek is on.
